Looks pretty genuine to me, my only dought would be that this design is a 2005/2006 one and the waistpatch confirms this to be most probably 2006 ( no writing without the words "Red Monkey Company" on the waistpatch and no laser number ( these started in 2007) and normally the selvedge is the tighter Red/Dark Green style rather than the wider gapped red and light green selvedge seen on these. Alternatively I would expect to see one side of the selvedge with just a red thread and the other side to have just a green thread on this design. In fact the selvedge resembles a pair of 2007 onwards RMC's which of course this design was before?.
Of course there is every possibility this pair was made just as the 2007 selvedge was being produced so its probably nothing to worry about. Every other aspect of the jeans looks fine though, the denim colour, the red tab, even the stitching on the pockets looks perfect so certainly you got a great bargain for what is a pretty sought after pair of RMC's like the Tsunami design.
This is what 2005/2006 red/green selvedge looks like incidently and I would have possibly expected to see this selvedge on the Tsunami design jeans, you will see the green is very dark, with both the red and green threads very close to each other and also each colour is only one thread wide;
The other type of selvedge I would expect to see on the Tsunami design is the single Red/ Single Green style selvedge mentioned earlier, this is what it looks like;
2007 to the current date, Red/Green selvedge is slightly different with the Green part being slightly lighter in colour and thicker than the Red part, often there is a small gap between the Red and Green threads although sometimes they do touch, both variations are shown in this picture and are both legit and this is the type of selvedge your jeans have;
Can I ask by the way, are the pictures ones you have taken yourself of the jeans in your possession or are they the pictures the seller sent to you?? The reason I ask is because if these are the pics you have been sent by the seller and you are still waiting for the jeans to arrive, you might receive a fake pair especially in view of the price payed.
Needless to say unscupulous sellers use other peoples pictures to help sell fakes and the selvedge issue here is a concern. Like I say I would have expected the Tsunami design to have had either of the first two types of selvege and not the type they have shown in the picture which looks too recent to match this design. This is where fakers slip up beause they do not know which selvedges go with which design.
Like I say I could be wrong and its possible this design had some pairs made with the more recent selvedge, but as you can see a pair of RMC having Red/Green selvedge isnt enough to prove they are genuine, there are 3 different types, all technically Red/Green but specific to designs and years of release.
