werd.. don't like em and they look like they took design ideas from RMC, kanji, the year of etc and made tweaks to it..

They look like a mix of Year of.., RMC and Kanji all rolled into one. Its about time these pretenders in the market thought up some designs of their own!

I guess thats one way to avoid RMC's lawyers. When I was in John Anthony's store in Bristol the other day they were selling a brand of jean that looked for all intense and purposes exactly like RMC. They didnt copy the designs or waistpatch logo, but they were a proper selvedge jean, and the simularity was such that I thought they were RMC from a distance. It was all the more suprising as John Anthony are listed as an RMC dealer, but suprisingly they had none in stock. I asked the salesman there and he said they were waiting for new stock to come in. The RMC lookalikes were retailing at about 90 pounds, I just wish I could remember the name, I think it was something like DenimSkin or Denimskid, dam I wish I could remember. These lookalikes had the freyed pockets and the stitching details behind the designs on the pockets and on the belt loops and condom pocket just like RMC. Why would they sell a product that undermines their own RMC stock just baffles me!
