I wrote to paul@togged.com so hopefully he can help. I'm trying to avoid the $25 in gas and tolls it would take to get to JJ"s in NYC. that's almost half of what I paid for the jeans. I just don't like being told that I'm wrong when I KNOW I'm right, especially when it comes to these jeans. seeing them in person I know at least 10 things wrong with these jeans thanks to the education I've gotten from this forum. and now I have to fight to prove I'm right? grrr.

well hopefully paul will be able to take time off and help you get this done. i mean paying $25 to get your refund for the jeans is better than not getting any back right? I know how you feel cause it had been duped by fakes when i 1st started buying RMC but we live and learn. At least you paid only $50+ for it lol.

I know but I've had such good luck with RMC's on Ebay so far. seeing the serial number was what sold it for me. but the pic was from afar. plus for some reason I didn't think that the god's series would be fake. it even has the name written in the waist band . I assumed that the only fakes were older RMC's. like the only fake ones I actually consciously bought. I never posted them. I bought them knowing they were fake , but it was before I ever owned a real pair. now I don't even wear them. I actually don't wear my RMC's much now that I got into Yoropiko.
if I contacted the sales department of the RMC website, could they help me if Paul can't?

ya know, 6 months ago I probably wouldn't have cared. no one in Philly I see is into RMC and I live on south st . one of the biggest Philly spots for nightlife. no one would know but me. but I know. but I can't wear a fake. I just can't.

Yeah you are right to say that most of the fakes tended to be the older pre 2006 designs and that continues to be the case in the main, but the fakers are branching out into more recent designs too and getting better at it also, sadly. Without very good close ups its very hard to tell. Ive even seen quite a few fakes made with selvedge denim too, now that cheap versions of this denim can be bought very easily too. Still you are quite right to challenge the seller, also check the sellers previous history and see if you can find out if he has sold any more fake RMC's to anybody else in the last 90 days. If he has then take a note of the buyers and message them via E bay and let them know they have bought a fake item. With any luck all his previous buyers will demand refunds too! Should be enough to annoy him enough to stop selling fakes anymore. LOL

I actually tried that the first time I got burned on Ebay buying a pair of armani jeans. I went through the sellers list contacting everyone who bought Armani jeans from them. none of them cared.
