Having shipped many items from the US to the UK I can say that unless the item you require isnt availible in your own home country then its best not to import. Often the additional cost of doing so ( Taxes, Import Duty, Shipping, Exchange rates, Paypal fees, etc.,) does not make it costworthy and it becomes a false economy. Also, should you have to return the item you can find yourself with a major headache too. I only ship in what I cannot get locally and even then, only if I really want it and cannot get it anywhere else, in which case I am prepared to pay whatever it costs to obtain the item in question. Generally if you live in the US stick to US retailers, if you live in the UK/Europe stick to those in your terrertory. Although the internet makes it so easy to ship in from abroad, if you have never done so before you might be in for a shock when you calculate the total price. The shipping docit is a legal document and most legit retailers will not place a lower value or mark the item as gift to help you avoid paying all the extras. If it was discovered then your parcel would be seized by customs and you would never see your delivery. Trust me.........YOU WILL PAY MORE, not only in money but in grief too, it simply aint worth it.
