I noticed that the official RMC website updated their US retailer list recently and added a company called G3 Jewelry. Threw me off at first because they're a jewelry company, but I checked out their site and the actually sell some exclusive Red Monkey Jeans and Yoropiko Jeans. I also saw all three colors of the Hungry Dragon jeans on their site available for sale.

They don't have a huge selection, but they're official. I'll be ordering mine from them.

I noticed that as well, but I just figured that since they're a new retailer, they have a full inventory. Someone ordered a pair of the hungry dragon denim and already put a review up on their site. Seemed like the guys was pretty happy with what he got and said that his shipment came internation overnight via FedEx from London, UK.

That's were RMC is headquartered. Very interesting.

I also Google G3 and RMC and saw a press release they put out in January announcing a collaboration on designs. Said something about a Diamond Chain wallet holder attached to an RMC wallet. Now that's going to be hot. Can't wait to see it.

hmm im wondering 1 thing $1200 dollars is about £800 ( with 2days exchange rate) ( 4 DRAGONS) + den you have to pay shipping .. i ive purchased 4rm us sites (karmaloop + drjays) before and i have to pay UK customs taxes and Fed ex rates and fees about 2 - 3 weeks after receving my item? the max i've apaid was £60 in taxes and fees for a $400 order, but an $1200 i would be looking at min of £150 - 200 in taxes and fees, unless they G3 Jewelry list as a low value amount? but that still about £800 may b MIN for a pair of jeans.. excluding any taxes that you will have to pay and shipping? the final cost of the jeans may go higher to even £900 - £1000 after shipping and taxes + which is still way much 4 a pair of dragons? i draw the line at £600 - £650 !!! CAN THE PERSON IN THIS post who stated that they are going 2 buy a pair of these 4rm this site, let me knw how the transaction goes?? as i might buy a pair when the exchange rate goes higher and wen they hve a sale . hollla ? xx

Hey Gush,

From what I gathered from the website and my checkout (I order last night) the shipping is free if you're in the US. I don't know if they ship internationally though. The review I saw for the Hungry Dragons, the guy had to be from the US, because he said "Thanks G3 Jewelry for bringing these to the US."

I didn't see an option for any other type of shipping when I checked out. I didn't pay any taxes either, so it was just $1200 straight up. I'll let you know when I get them in the mail.

But for US shoppers, I've seen the colorful hungry dragons on plenty of sites, but I've never seen these anywhere in the states. As far as price goes, togged.com charges $940 + shipping for those and you can get them in a few places. I expected to pay extra for a limited edition pair.

Another though is, if they ship them from the UK, I wouldn't think you would have to pay customs fee's. Sounds like you're already over there.

Having shipped many items from the US to the UK I can say that unless the item you require isnt availible in your own home country then its best not to import. Often the additional cost of doing so ( Taxes, Import Duty, Shipping, Exchange rates, Paypal fees, etc.,) does not make it costworthy and it becomes a false economy. Also, should you have to return the item you can find yourself with a major headache too. I only ship in what I cannot get locally and even then, only if I really want it and cannot get it anywhere else, in which case I am prepared to pay whatever it costs to obtain the item in question. Generally if you live in the US stick to US retailers, if you live in the UK/Europe stick to those in your terrertory. Although the internet makes it so easy to ship in from abroad, if you have never done so before you might be in for a shock when you calculate the total price. The shipping docit is a legal document and most legit retailers will not place a lower value or mark the item as gift to help you avoid paying all the extras. If it was discovered then your parcel would be seized by customs and you would never see your delivery. Trust me.........YOU WILL PAY MORE, not only in money but in grief too, it simply aint worth it.

in the US, customs only taxes items over $800. At least from what I've experienced. I buy lots of things internationally, paypal and my bank are the only ones that seem to add extra fees.

I wonder if this company will get more Yoropiko Jeans in stock. Right now, they're only show two styles.

I just found their MySpace page (Red Monkey Jeans is in their top friend and RMC has G3 Jewelry in their top friends as well) and they have a lot of celebrities and professional athletes wearing the jeans.

Looks like they do pretty good marketing for RMC. Not bad.
