Before even scrolling down to the pretend selvedge the thing that gave it away to me was the outer rear double stitching on the embroidered pockets. Even the best fakes ive seen cannot seem to get anybody to sew in a straight line. The two stitch lines should be more or less parallel/evenly divided, then spread out graduly as it reaches the top of the pocket with a subtle widening. This is something worth looking at if ever you see pics of something you suspect to be fake but dont have a pic of the selvedge. Its something almost all fakers get wrong despite it being one of the easiest aspects to fake. I guess the machine workers have to work too fast to do this accurately.
Just wondering if any of the moderators/members will be able to produce the pictures of the jeans shown in this post as I am unable to view them as Flickr says "Photo is unavailable".
Would like to make sure the pics are not the jeans I put up for sale recently. As I told a interested buyer to verify the authenticity of the jeans with members of this forum.
Hi there Aljavan, yeah can't see the pictures either but I can assure you it wasnt the ones on your link ( you are showiing Golden monkey RMC). The ones in the original pics were a completely different design but off the top of my head I cant remember what they were. The ones you show on your link are genuine though without a dought.
Sorry for the delayed response. Thank you guys for your help. No these aren't the same ones. The reason I asked is so I could prevent selling fake ones. Please let me know if someone wants the pictures so they can host them permanently. I can just email them to you or something. Thanks again!
