Taobao auctions in China is infamous for its fakes sadly, all I can say with any certaintly is that the pictures used on this and many other auctions listed for Yoropiko are almost without exception stock photos taken from other websites like Togged for example. Basically they rarely use pics of products taken by the seller themselves. Whilst Ive never personally seen Gold or Silver fake Dragons myself, only Multicolour RMC versions, thats not to say they do not exsist and the only way to ever be sure is to buy them and see what happens. Needless to say I dought you would be offered the same level of buyer protection as an authorised dealer can give, or even the likes of E bay for that matter.
The only time Ive ever attempted to purchase a pair of what looked like genuine RMC from Taobao, the seller asked me if I wanted it with or without waistpatch???!!
Needless to say I didnt go ahead with the sale and have avoided Taobao ever since.

the fake ones are just 50 - 150 rmb....

when I buy on taobao I let my chiense friend speak to the sellers...
that way they always tell the truth about the items.... no missunderstandings...

so far I have always been happy...
I buy lots of fakes there too... but everytime I bought something that they stated was authentic it has always been so... so im satisfied.

Yeah price is generally the best indicator, if its too good to be true then often it is and ends up being fake. Of course some sellers will still offer a high price to make you believe the item must be genuine, a bit of reverse psychology of sorts so you still have to be careful. Agree totally with xoxo though that you really need somebody who can communicate with the sellers before attempting to buy from any Asian auction.

I had my friend to ask some sellers right now... most cheap ones was outsold, still one got a multicolored 32" left.. he recommended my friend to check with someone else tomorrow that might have a 32 golden left... so yeah.. seems like no large stock... but that I thought already...

I'm confused? what is happening in this thread? And someone should really take of all those fake RMC jeans listings from ebay.com & .co.uk !!!

The fakes on E bay are normally taken off swiftly, unfortunately both myself and Paul are on holiday this week so are not able to report them. Be assured they will be removed next week once all is back to normal. As for those few that did sell, well unfortunately the buyers will have learnt a valuble lesson no dought unless of course they were aware they are fake and dont care!

Took a while cause I ended up order more and more... but heres a photo I took of the Golden Dragons I hooted from Taobao.. I payed 2,400.00 CNY = 359.728 USD

I compare them to my silver ones they looks totally the same, so Im happy about it

yes they are real, I have size 34 in gold and they look like mine gold ones. Are there any more pairs I would like a size 32 or 34 in silver
