Some interesting stuff there Brian, although I could never get my head around abstract Art ( I studied Art and Design, Art History, and Sculpture at College many moons ago). Is the last one a self portrait? ( not being funny here by the way, serious question). You certainly seem to enjoy working with a wide range of materials, and its interesting because I can now see why you like the bold pastel colours and almost cartoon like shapes on BBC/Ice Cream. Its evident in your work also, plus I now know why you ended up buying the Rock Yoropikos too! Is a design led career where you see yourself going work wise in the future? Anyway thanks for sharing buddy, 100 years from now when we are all dead and buried your stuff could be selling for millions! LOL

its a self portrait theme but its just a concept to work with at the time. i learn from the best my master Hock-Aun Teh - Chinese Abstract Painter - Home , hopefully i be fairly successful at my middle age!!! since its contemporary/modern art. a few thousand each will do me fine as a living!!!

Just checked the site, his overalls are as abstract as his work, he is covered in paint! LOL But yeah, absract is a very hard sell, you either get it, or you dont, I find. But never let that put you off of course, linear thinking never comes up with anything new and an abstract view of things can often see new avenues, without restrictions not only in art but of course in life too. As you will no dought be aware life reflects art and art reflects life, chaos, vibrancy, peace, love, all these things manifest themselves in both planes. Like music, art can stir the soul and even if we dont all realise it, all of here on this forum have been affected by somebody elses ( Martins) artistic vision, after all thats why we are here isnt it?
