RMC and many other of my designer jeans sadly comes in about 34, or even 36 inches in lenght!! the non higher denim brand, I have noticed normally have an selection that customers can chose from.
Now what about people who are smaller then me !!! lool, I feel for them !!

I can remember when Gap jeans came to the UK and they were one of the first to offer just about every variation of sizes in terms of waist and leg length. I could get a 29 inside leg and a 33 waist, or a 33 leg and 31 waist, literally every combination was availible from stock on the shelves. Needless to say the shelves were very full indeed. It simply wouldnt be practical for any designer brand to carry so many variations especially a brand like RMC whos jean designs are very limited in numbers to start with. With RMC as the waist gets bigger so does the leg length, the assumption is taller people generally have bigger waists.
But I agree with Gush's point that if you are short and stocky with a big waist then clearly jeans with such long legs will look ridiculous, of course as previously mentioned the jeans can be turned up professionally to fit, naturally its impossible to add extra length if you are very tall and skinny.
In the case of RMC its somewhat odd that the larger waist jeans have such long legs given Asians tend to be physically smaller/shorter than Westerners, but the brand has to fit a worldwide audience so in that case it all makes sence.
