Certainly did, some styles dont come with a red tag ( usually US market designs). There isnt any difference now regarding regions so any of the newer designs will be the same worldwide. Some older designs come with a red tag and some dont, but some are availible with or without, good examples are the Budda Gutta and King Kong designs, both are availible as tagged and non tagged. This is where fakers get it wrong and its worth learning which designs come with red tags and which ones dont ( trust me it takes ages to compile a list). The fakers cant be bothered to check and this is one way to know if what they offer is fake. Also remember, where a tag is attatched it should be red inside and out ( except the Kanji of course which is always white). If its white on the inside then the jeans are fake. I believe also that there were some RMCs for the Japanese market only, a few years back which had Black tabs but to be honest I couldnt tell you which designs they were, but you are unlikely to come across many of these and I am not even sure if these were official product or not anyway.
