Hi,
if anyone is interested to share his knowlegde in chinese myths about the MONKEY hero, "god", and about the God of golden brother, like the design you got on the RMC pair of jeans model... I am glad to hear and i bet there should be a few peeps around interested by far eastern cultures to chat about all this!

thread moved. wrong section loic. the god of golden brothers are chinese gods who in ancient times are drawn on the front doors of people's house which was said to protect them from evil spirits etc. i dunno why the golden monkey was on the RMC but it's not the monkey god that you think it is lol.

Why not Shin?
That would just be in the artistic line of RMC, and may be even Red Monkey is inspired by the MONKEY "god"-like!

well, being how the story of the monkey god goes, it doesn't go together with the picture. it's more of a artistic picture of a monkey holding a peach rather than the monkey god.
