14.5oz denim is used for the selvedge denim rmcs, dont know whats used for the diffusion line

i only know iron heart with 21oz.

Sugercane are a pretty heavy denim too, but I think RMC is just about right. I expect that a much heavier denim would make the embroidery very hard to do. You would get through a lot of sewing needles for sure!
