Of course you about all the BAPE BBC Ice Cream Evisu and RMC fakes. In Paris, 80% of the people (at least) wearin' these brands are wearin' fakes . Then, everybody get fed up with that. Often people say they wear some real whereas obviously they don't, moreover they admit that they can't recognize a fake and a real. Finally, stores in Paris sellin' real Evisu etc don't succeed anymore to empty their stock, then they stop to sell it. I asked to 4 stores why, they all told me about the same reason .

Very concerning...

I was just checking a local Finnish forum where they were talking about watches and a dude just stated that he rather buys few fake Jacobs etc. every once in a while than puts few k's into an authentic one.

I guess it's not just France, people everywhere are tempted to get the 'look' without paying for it. Main, I see dozens of young ladies with their LV-wannabes, and they think it's cool.

It's very sad when stores stop stocking the real items due to number of fakes on the streets. You mainly see fake evisus on the street here, no fake RMC as of yet. Hope that fake RMCs don't enter the streets here either.

I tip my hat to all stores keeping it real and offering real deal for those who want to retain their integrity and rock the authentic goods.

It seems geniune retailers as well as the brands themselves suffer as a result of fakes out on the street. In the end you just have to do what you do, don't worry that nobody realises you gear is genuine. It doesnt matter what these people think, all that matters is that you are true to yourself and know that what you are wearing is genuine. Its nice to stand out from the crowd, and those who are really in the know, the people you are going to truely impress will be able to seperate you from all the wannabes out there wearing the fake crap.

beyond the problem of authenticity, I'm worried about the possibility to find the Evisu, the RMC, or the BAPE that I want. Because if all stores stop sellin' it, I can't afford to take it on the internet yet , and then I'm f*cked lol
In France there is a store when you could get a RMC only for 150euros (200 dollars), but now prefer to sell some brands streetwear that are cheaper

Moreover, it's also difficult to convince people that you don't wear fake because they see fakes everywhere

I can see your dilemma...

But real recognize real. Like Dunny has mentioned, all that really matters is that you know that the jeans you rock are the real deal.

Fortunately there are still folks who appreciate the true craftsmanship and the work involved in making a pair of jeans such as RMC. There can never be enough artisan spirit in this world, heh.

Exactly, "real recognize real"

But here I think I'll find more real guys with real style than in the streets of Paris
What's funny is when I come to talk to people rockin' fake in the street, they often think what they bought is real
Then, when I explain them how to recognize real/fake etc .. They ask me how much I paid for my jeans, and when I tell them 200$ they answer "ok then you are scamed" but what they don't even know is that my pair is 500$ on togged ...

Because they are the official retailer
It's the same as for stores you find outside. At the official Diesel, if a jeans costs 150euros, you will find it at 100 in a destocking store, but you're not sure to find your waist you want ..
