Damn it's a shame about the first one cus its actually a really nice design! I'll try and get more pics of the second one but they both from the same seller, so I'm assuming the second one might end up being fake as well

The 2nd is a fake too. The waist patch and tag gave it away.

anyway here is a pair of very rare and extremilly sought after rmcs i just came across on craigslist. size 30 and very cheap price!!
Authentic Red Monkey Jeans Size 30-(32) Priced to SELL
i am not selling these jeans but just came across them, they are authentic and a sought after style. hope that may help someone
The first RMC's on E bay are clearly fake, the tag, waistpatch even the pocket outer stitching prove that and of course the fact that one design isnt even genuine LOL

Even active members can still fail to spot a fake, as you will find out!! The Craigslist pair, Ive a feeling these are not authentic, anybody considering these would need lots more pics to be sure. Why do I think they are fake? Well the seller bought them from Japan, yeah so what you might say, but check the selvedge, looks like red line selvedge on both sides to me ( I could be wrong and it could just be the quality of the picture) and RMC Indigo single line red line selvedge was never produced, only the really thick red line like my 2005 Rooster pair. All thin red line selvedge RMC's have been black denim not Indigo. I suspect this is in fact one of the very decent fakes you see on the likes of Yahoo auctions Japan ( see why the Japan aspect makes sence now!), there are loads, they look very convincing because the selvedge makes people think they are genuine and some even come with a replica wooden box!!! The fact that these are washed also disguises the waistpatch and makes it harder to tell if its real. Love the blur 'o' vision pics too, funny how its only ever fakes that get taken with these special cameras LMAO As most are aware most fakes you see are cheap non selvedge denim normally but not these! Just remember if its Indigo and a thin red line selvedge denim it aint RMC unless its one of the newer OR made in Japan pairs which were released recently, which clearly these are not.

Better pictures of these jeans would likely reveal that the red centre tag on the yoke is in fact looking black to me with gold kanji ( yes there have been black tabs on the likes of AAAA collab jeans but never the tsunami design), another sign of a Japanese selevdge fake. As always its cheap for a reason...........cos its fake! LOL

Regarding the above, here is a pair of fake RMC from Japan, a design most will know is fake anyway, but the basic construction is repeated for designs that look legit like the above Tsunami. In fact Yahoo auctions Japan regularly shows Twin dragons design made like this for sale, which is why I always warn people to leave Yahoo well alone. Notice how good and genuine they look ( obviously ignore the pocket designs for now LOL), but notice how they exhibit the same single line red line selvedge on an Indigo denim ( which I should point out is unbleached cotton , another sign its fake) as the above craiglist jeans and how good the waistpatch even looks!! Even close up some aspects are pretty much spot on. Check out the coin pockets waves, they are identical to the Craiglist pair, real RMC have a totally random pattern of waves, no two pairs are the same, clearly the same design and stitching is used to cut down costs. Obviously you can see the black and Gold centre yoke tag as previously mentioned which again confirms they are fake. Needless to say, many people have been duped by these and of course the Rangy Mountain fakes because they thought they were genuine just because the fakers went to the trouble of using a selvedge denim.

yea sorry to say this but the hokusai waves on craigslist is fake too. its one of those well made fakes from rangy. you can tell from the denim and waist patch. you can also tell by how the jeans look when it's been washed and worn.
