Specialist dry cleaning is probably the best solution, in fact I'll be testing this for myself due to me getting raw egg all over the back of a pair of my RMC ( don't ask LOL) So I'll let you know how it goes

Ha ha a new pair which I had only got delivered that day and had only worn them about 2 hours, pics up soon. But yeah Ive done pics of the Egg stain but its hard to see to be honest with the denim being so dark and me only having a camera phone. I'll do after pics too and we will see how good my dry cleaner is, shouldnt be hard to remove raw egg but bear in mind they cant be gotten wet so might be a challenge.

Actually steaming isnt a bad idea if the jeans aren't actually dirty and you just want to freshen them up particularly if you got sweaty in them. Steaming shouldnt harm the jeans and will kill the bacteria, failing that pop em in the freezer like they did in the old days, again only if the jeans are not soiled in any way and you just wanna freshen them up

With regards to the freezer killing bacteria, it actually just slows em' down. I mean it does not kill the stench nor the bacteria, unless your freezer can be set into deep freeze mode. So what it does is that it knocks out the bacteria but as soon as they're out of the freezer, they're right back at it like an addict...

The bacteria gathered in long term actually start to corrupt the fabric. So while wearing jeans without washing them will ensure you nice fades it might also result in the jeans breaking up faster. So wash your jeans people.
