RMC is not a hip hop brand. it's a designer brand that consist of both art and style. it appeals to different crowds and it's especially popular with HIP HOP cultures cause of it's design. hip hop / rap artist likes to be different, like huge chrome rims, gold grills (teeth), bling blings and apparel wise it'll be RMC, BBC, etc..

i agree, rmc transcends one musical genre. i dont even like hip-hop but rate rmc as one of the best designer brands money can buy.

Yeah at 36 years old I am hardly Hip Hop material, however although I find RMC appeals to younger people than me, I like it because of its link to Oriental Culture ( which I have always had an interest in) and the outright quality of the brand, plus if I am honest its exclusivity.

HIP HOP is a culture started in the 70's had a part of gang culture in NEW YORK CITY. UP ROCKING, BREAK DANCING, GRAFFITI AND RAPPING. IT WAS A WAY OUT FOR A SMALL GROUP OF PEOPLE TO ESCAPE THE POVERTY AND VIOLENCE WE GREW TO ACCEPT AS NORMAL. THE KIDS NOW DON.T KNOW WHAT HIP HOP IS. IT'S A WAY OF LIFE A WAY OF DRESS AND A FORM OF SONG AND ART. IT IS NOT WHAT THE WORLD SEE AND THINKS WHAT IT IS. IT'S DEEP IT'S A FORCE THAT INFLUNCES THE WORLD THE MUSIC THE STYLES. AND SO MUCH MORE MY FRIEND DUNNY.

bobby just said everything perfectly! my english is not good enough to participate on this discussion.
rmc is not a brand for hip hoppers only, but with it´s different design from other clothing it´s attractive to most hip hoppers, especially nowadays - where hip hop clothing is getting more and more fancy
