If your gonna get it done, get it in black and do it big enough so that once it fades you dont end up with a greyed out splodge that nobody knows what it is. Trouble with Tattoo's is people have fantasticly detailed tiny bits of artwork that look outstanding when they first have them, and over time as the tattoo fades and settles all the detail is lost. A good tattooist isn't just someone who is an excellent artist, he/she is also someone who understands how the tattoo will develop later on, sometimes less detail is more, and your tattoo will look faded a lot longer than the way it looks when you first had it done! Of course you can always get it touched up now and again and to be fair modern tattoo inks are way better than the stuff used years ago. Oh by the way TNT, all mine hurt, especially the one on my back ( ribs and shoulder blades especially) but thats because i'm a pussy
