To be honest I dont think there wil be any issues regards radiation unless the goods you buy came pretty much directly from the affected area of the leak which is unlikely given the devastation that occurred in the area.
In theory radiation can travel many miles airbourne but of course its concentration diminishes as it spreads out. Its important to remember that we are bombarded by radiation every day of our lives from the sun and radio waves, all be it they are considered low level.
Its also important to consider the half life of the radiation too, ie the time it takes for the radiation to decay or reach a stable configuration where the atoms no longer emitt radiation. Depending on the substance this half life could be a matter of days or thousands of years!
