Yo guys, I've been wanting to get a couple new evisu jeans but I'm not sure. I love the designs but I hate how the openings at the ends of the leg are sometimes even smaller than the leg itself. I'm short so it looks ridiculous on me. I have a pair of evisus though that are fine at the ends and a pair where I can't even get it to fall below my ankles wearing converse, so how am I supposed to know (they both were straight leg relaxed fit) = =....

Oh does it have something to do with the EU ED jeans?

As always it is going to be down to personal taste and I suspect that if the leg is simply too long then you will have to resort to some type of tayloring to reduce the leg length. The E.U. designs do tend to be slimmer and taper towards the end to give it the Italian style fit, so again its just part of the fit. Maybe you could just stick to wider leg Evisus, ie the Japanese style fits like No1 and No2 evisu as these would probably be more like the jeans that you already have that fit OK. Failing that only buy from retailers who allow you to send back the Jeans if they are a poor fit, at least that way you can try without risk.

Aha!! Thanks Dunny!!
It is the EU ED that taper at the end. Alright I'll just stick to the Japanese Evisus now. I knew something was up with those. = =!

LOL, No worries, that said I have a pair of older evisu in E.U. edition that are wide at the bottom and similar style to the Japanese ones ( even down to the use of selvedge denim), however they are heavily pre washed so its not an absolute hard and fast rule. Generally though the more recent E.U editions are tailored more like Italian style slimmer fit jeans. Ive also noticed that some of the non E.U Evisus particularly the prewashed examples are also slimmer. Best to stick with the raw selvedge Evisus if you want the fit you are after.
