Hand wash in cold water does the trick. Not all too much indigo wash out and the shrinking is minimal. Hang dry the jeans and avoid the tumble dryer. The embroidery holds up real well. Both Shin and yours truly at least have posted pics of washed RMCs. Just don't remember the thread, heh. If you don't count the slight fraying of the pockets first few washes don't change the jeans all too much. Slight shrinking and a bit lighter tone but the embroideries stay the same.

To be sure to keep em looking like new Dry clean is the only option, bear the mind the waistpatch shrivels up too when washing in normal water.

well I need to shrink some of them. and the pockets fray a bit from day to day wear. so Im not worried about that. minimally but I think it looks cool. I want to keep my jay -z nice but I think I might want to beat up my dragons. I only wish I had a pair of light blue dragons, I think they would look really good faded. I need to shrink my green pocket RMC's and most of my evisu. they're starting to have a stink about them.

how often do you all wash yours?

Never washed mine, that said, Ive only worn most of them perhaps once or twice ever anyway. Certainly if they are starting to get smelly then its time to give em a wash. Maybe use mildly warm water at first and line dry. If you go for a hot wash and tumble dry they may shrink too much! Depends on just how much you want to shrink them, but the process is a bit unpredictable.

I wash my jeans something like every two weeks. This is after wearing in my jeans at first. I wore my RMCs non-stop like few months and then gave them a wash. Depends on how much you want to shrink your jeans, even a cool wash (about 30 degrees) will shrink your jeans, assuming you have not washed them before. Like I mentioned the cool wash will retain the color pretty well as well. My RMC shrunk almost 2 inches after the initial wash and few inches in length as well.

Damn, I also want to get a pair of light blue dragons (or any dragons) to a wear and tear project. Would be cool to see a pair of dragons that has gone through some real wear and tear, heh.

In my opinion no Dragon would age better than the Black Dragons, once the Indigo had faded the true Black Dragon would be revealed!

to wash the RMC, you should flip the jeans inside out, dip it into cold water will very mild detergent, soak it for alil white and lightly scrub the spots that are dirty, rinse with cold water and hang it dry.

Well that's the correct way to do it but for me i just dump my geisha every once in a month into the washer and dryer cause i'm trying to destroy it lol but regardless of how i wash it the jeans still holds up really well.

Yeah, flipping the jeans insiflde out is pretty essential to retain the color heh. Silly me for not mentioning it. haha the jeans sure hold up well even through all that wear and tear. I mean I got my momotaros and rmcs both on a collision course but needless to say they are both holding up real well. But that just goes to show it's money well spent, heh.
