No suprises to find that my preference is to dry clean, simply because I like to keep my jeans as mint as possible, although I agree normal washing does soften them up ( Ive got a wrecked pair of RMC's I wear regularly that just get a normal wash for example LOL). For me normal washing reduces the second hand value of the jeans, not that I plan to sell any of course, but certainly on the rare occasions I buy second hand I generally wont entertain jeans that have been heavy worn or washed a lot, although some collectors may prefer it the other way round.

I prefer to wash mine, especially those pairs that i wanna get the heavily worn look to it. Been doing that to my 12oz OR lol.

Guys you are both right. Dry cleaning does keep the jeans looking in mint condition, but when you wash them. They are so soft. And I think for the heavy embroidery that is important.

not like we have to worry bout the embroidery since they are so well made, they stay exactly the way it is even after dumpin into dryer lol

my is opinion is dry clean, i prefer that fresh look and i find that either way after wearing the jeans for a while they'll soften up.

I'm kinda both ways on the issue
my "washed " ones I wash, but any of the crisp ones I tend to not wash unless a smell is prevalent. I agree that ones I've bought second hand that have been through the wash are defiantly softer, but the idea of hard denim is that it keeps it's form.
thinking about it, I might enjoy my denim jackets more if I go and wash them. they look great but they are so itchy!
