Default What Trainers to wear - 05-11-2009, 12:18 PM

Hiya guys this is my 1st post but ive been around looking at the messages "researching" (if you could call it that) RMC & Yoropiko for ages and now its coming towards the time that i want to get myself a pair of 2 I was thinking something like the hungry dragons sumo wrestler or the warlords

Im having difficulty picking the right sort of footwear to match them though as i think there is no point having the warlords a christian audiger t shirt and a y3 leather hooded jacket if you are going to wear a pair of reebok classics so i was wondering what looks good on your feet with these jeans

thanks

Agree with all the above comments, but also consider New Balance Retro/Classic styles when wearing Yoropiko as there is a great deal of Synergy between the brands. You can't go wrong with a pair of AF1's from Nike either and Supras are the new boy on the block which are really making the scene right now. Also Bape are cool, but be sure to get genuine ones, you dont want to rock genuine RMC/Yoropiko with Fapes LOL

Lol, I think that when you're rockin a real RMC, you generally don't associate with Fapes ^^

Thats certainly true, but of course whilst fake RMC is pretty easy to spot, fakes of Bape are much harder sadly, although with a little knowledge its easy to spot them. LOL I would be mortified if someone who was an expert on Bape shoes proved what I was wearing with my RMC was a Fape and I didnt realise it

Anyway official shops are mentioned on the official website. A part from them, there is a few "unofficial" retailers, but you have to know well who you can trust, for example CLVII in France is not an official retailer for BAPE, but I know that I can trust the seller (see what I've said about it : Clvii shop Paris - Page 4 - RMC )

Yeah agree with you there Mr Happy, its normally the way, if a shop carries genuine stock of a few brands then its likely all their stuff is legit. Thats why when I see all these Urban retailers selling fake RMC then I know all their Artful dodger, Evisu, Bape and Nike are gonna be fake too! LOL

I like it when I see people adding a bit of a personal touch to their style.
So many times you see people wear the typical AF1s, Bapestas etc which fits most people's stereotypical images of RMC.

Obviously there is nothing wrong with that at all - I'd just like to see a little bit of differnce between each person. With RMC being so original & unique it seems a shame to make them into a 'uniform'. Being different & unique is one of the attractions of RMC to so many people.

I like Dunny's style of New Balance or Shin's Reebok Pumps. Just something that not everyone is wearing & something which is a bit different to what people expect you to wear with RMC.

Anyone wear Converse with them? How about Y-3 or Pumma x McQueens?? Has anyone ever worn 'shoes' or flip flops/sandels? If so - lets see some pics!

I bet a pair of distressed RMCs would look decent with some sandels or shoes!

I like my Jhung Yuros (which I got from Togged - definately recommend getting a pair if you like your unique tastes! Try the Exotics!). But then again I like my pumps & nikes!
