I wore Edwin jeans a couple of years ago (the 503 Blue Trip, 503 RVs, 505 SEN selvedge, etc), and I had sold a few pairs on eBay :P
They have some great designs and great wash/fade patterning, and I reckon they are a good starting point for people wanting to get into Japanese denim. I think Edwin produces fairly good jeans for its price range (when bought in Japan or Taiwan)
I live in Australia, and Edwin is becoming a popular brand amongst young guys.
But, I reckon they are a little over-priced in Australia and I didn't like the concept of the European edition Edwin jeans. Also, I found it very surprizing that for some of its mainline designs, there are official versions which are made in Taiwan (selling at half the price of the Japanese made version); the materials and stitching are exactly the same! This put me off Edwin jeans a little bit.
