That is very true. High quality shuttle loom selvedge denim alone is just one part of making a great pair of jeans. Just like Dunny said selvedge in itself is no guarantee of quality. The jeans can be produced by right people using the right tools or mass produced like majority of the clothing available. But it's the combination of all those elements/time and effort put to making a pair of jeans that make them special.
