What is the general opinion about these The Year Of The Pig Jeans? Is this year, The Year Of The Pig? What's next year? I heard somewhere this was Martin's idea that Tony borrowed, is that right?

not perticularly a fan of their design.

Not the worst Jeans I ever saw to be fair, some elements of the design look OK, but it looks too much like a Hybrid of several other denim brands, and isnt bringing anything new or unique. A bit of a mish mash of ideas all stuck together. Still if you like exclusivity there are only 144 pairs of these made, which is just as well cos I dought even all of these will ever get sold.

Year of jeans are cool! not as hot as yoropiko but hotter than RMC!

bobby i could not DISAGREE MORE! tyo is nowehere near the style and quality of rmc. basically tyo is an invention by tony t-bone magnetic who used to be an employee of martin ksohoh. martin had to let t-bone go and t-bone started making the tyo. basically the tyo is an apprentices version of rmc and will never be to the quality of the master which is rmc martin ksohoh.

i can't believe you said that bobby. TYO is nowhere in the same league as RMC. not quality wise, not design wise. TYO is like trying to do something that's already done, and just producing something similar and trying to all more stuff to it to make it look different, which failed imo.

My feeling regarding TYO is that Tony has some good ideas but doesnt execute them very well. I think that if he concentrated on the quality of the denim, more than trying to simply out-bling RMC then he would have a very credible product. Design without quality is wasted. If I owned TYO I would be trying to make it into a super Denim brand, make them complete high quality selvedge throughout in the same way as Yoropiko, make denim maniacs fall in love with it, then add the styles that make it different to RMC, then I think I would be interested in this brand. Its still a young brand and Tony has lots yet to learn plus it is very hard to come up with anything that hasnt been done before, but if TYO wants to survive in the high end denim world ( and there is plenty of competition) he needs to make his product High end.
