I believe the top end stuff like deluxe and No1 denim is still made in Japan, but the rest, No2, heritage and E.U stuff is made in places like Tunisia.

EU.ED is made in italy. at least my eu-ed pairs are made in italy and many others i´ve seen. but i got older evisus, not the new ones.

i dont have any evisus made in tunisia but i think their quality is much worse than the older ones.

for example, i got a no.2 raw denim made in japan, it´s from 2002 but bought 2006.
a friend got the same no.2 raw denim but the 2008 version made in tunisia.

after a few months his one was extremely roughed up and lost so much indigo, that was unbelieveable, the denim got holes and he wasnt wearing it as often as i was wearing my no2.
my no2 still looks better than his one altough i´m actively trying to rough it up i cant get the same effect as he does. my pair is just undestroyable.

also the evisu pairs become cheaper and cheaper, now u pay only 200€ for a good pair of evisu, some years ago a good selvedge pair was around 250-300€ and the daicock specials were 400€ +

i also think that they have to come back to the roots and to return into their old quality, but that maybe will never happen :-(

Got some of dem good azz sugar cookies?

Yeah I am inclined to agree with you TNT, it seems that Evisu's main product line, its Jeans are now poorer than the other clothing ranges they offer. I still like the T's and Hoodies and jackets, but I don't see any Evisu Jeans quality wise that does much for me lately except the really high end Deluxe and No1 Ranges. I think if you want to buy a pair of Jeans you have to go for the older stock like you can still get at Togged.

To me its mainly the design over quality, of course that doesnt mean i [prefer shitty cheap stuff with lots of colors, im just sayin if they look good ima buy em, i wouldnt just buy stuff because its company had a good rep as a quality product, exeptions are rmc i have the plain waves and some yoropiko gold
