LOL Tenticle erotica! Thats a new one on me I gotta say, thanks anyway though for the info Seems like Martin looks for continued inspiration from the great Japanese artist Katsushia Hokusai for which the Toyo story designs and the wave design RMC have come from.

Yeh Martin often uses old art works for designs - the first one I remember was the Fu & Ra jackets!!

yup, cd is right, u also can find fu and ra on prohibit articles before they started faking rmc. and the hokusai wave rmc is also inspired by hokusais paintings on wooden tables.
the design is exactly the same as the legendary picture. dunny - as he has studied art n design maybe knows hokusai

I'll be honest and say I'd never heard of Hokusai the artist before buying RMC! LOL. Still his work is a great inspiration and I can see why Martin has used the themes of Hokusai's artwork in his RMC designs. Given that Hokusai was believed to be the father of Manga in Japan, I think maybe Martin should use some modern Manga themes in some of his future designs! Now that would be cool
