Well people buy what they like and will be willing to pay for it at certain price if they really like it. Just like people buying LV bags, Rolex etc. Why do they cost so much compared to other brands like maybe seiko or maybe let say Kenneth Cole? style and quality. One of the reason why people chose artful dodger or coogi etc probably is due to ever other person wearing it just like evisu. If RMC was to have pricing like Evisu then we probably would see every other person wearing em too and that's probably when RMC mass produces and no longer is exclusive. I would agree that RMC and Yoropiko ain't cheap, but it's definitely got the style and quality to back it up. You have to consider also that RMC is not a local brand. Shipping + custom fees etc adds up to the cost as well. If you're not willing to pay for the price of that product, that's probably you don't like it enough. I'm not rich either and i've got mouths to feed, car payments etc but above all that i'm still willing to buy RMC cause to me it's something you won't see everyone wearing it and the quality to me is just amazing.

You have an excellent point in the sense of buying things you wont see every other person wearing, and that's what got me into high end jeans in the first place, not wanting to look like everybody else, so i got you there, but there are so high in price though. I really like Yoropiko, but wooooo, the prices are killer, LOL.

I add that my aim is to buy the greatest of each brand. For example, Evisu and Red Monkey are known for their great denims, then I will buy jeans but no Evisu jacket for example. BAPE sell amazing shoes (bapestas) and hoodies (camo) ? I'll buy it, but I won't buy BAPE jeans because they have nothing exceptionnal, if they are exclusive, the quality and the style is normal and nobody will tell you "What a great denim you wear !". We can find numerous other examples .. ^^

I agree with you there, most brands are very good at doing one product really well, you site Bape as doing great shoes and Hoodies and I would agree that that is where the brands strength lyes. Evisu has some great denims as you say, and Supreme major on jackets and T shirts so mixing brands can be the best way to get an overall great look and still have quality clothing. RMC and Yoropiko have excellent denims ( some of the best in the world) and the other products like T's and Hoodies are improving all the time too. Things will never change, you get what you pay for in this life!

I agree with you all. We should all be "cautious" when it comes to spending our money--but it's just that--OUR money. Don't deprive yourself. If you see something you like, GET THAT ----! A price tag shouldn't come between you & your happiness. If you want to look good, look good! CHUURCH!

I don't really understand why the pusher focuses on price. You can't say I love the brand but will never buy a pair of jeans because of the price! If you really love it you know one day you will get a pair even if you don't got the money now. And as everybody knows uniqueness and quality have a price.
Plus to say it's smart from Martin to keep the same jeans and just change the back pockets... I don't know I feel upset with that idea, it's like this guy disrespects Martin's work saying he's dishonest... I just can't understand that point of view, it's confusing to me, not very clear...

people like the pusher joins the forum every now and then to talk trash of the brand etc. being prices, style. The fact is they have nothing better to do and don't know the true quality and details of the brand to be able to justify it's cost etc. Bottom line is, Good Quality don't come cheap, if they do, every other store will be selling authentic LV and Gucci bags lol.
