Here is an interesting one, a trusted web seller like Yoox who have both USA and European websites which are popular with buyers. I was amazed to see RMC by Martin Ksohoh listed as a brand they carry because I know they are not official distibutors of the brand. Upon checking I nearly fell off my chair, a rare Lucky cats design for just $115!! Needless to say my enthusiasm was dashed when I took a closer look at the pictures. The waistpatch and red tag showing a white inside pretty much confirmed my suspicions. FAKE! Its worrying because this seller also carries Evisu too at very cheap prices. I guess it puts in dought the authenticity of everything they sell now

any idea how reputable are they? Wonder if it's another dupe by Rangy?

That's unbelievable, yoox always authentic brands.
Their Evisu, Marc Jacobs, Versace, Diesel etc etc are all authentic.
Maybe they don't know about the high number of fakes on the market, and then they have been scamed.

You can be sure their Evisu are not fakes, they sell the one I wear which is obviously 100% authentic, comin from the Heritage collection.

yoox basically sells anything it can get hold of and it is usually grey market stuff because they have very few official accounts and we all know that when you buy on the grey market you usually get a lot of fakes mixed in. they also have a plausible deniability policy.

but how can you trust if all the brands YOOX offer are real and genuine. members here only know RMc and Evisu but waht about the names you have never heard of. if we guys didnt know how to spot a fake, we would have been conned by YOOX. I will never shop at YOOX again, rather be safe then sorry.

I couldnt comment on the authenticity of any other brands carried by Yoox, in fairness they could all be genuine and they could be a victim in much the same way DJ premium was a while back. Obviously just one fake item puts all their stock under suspicion. Really, they should research product more carefully, after all a quick Google search on RMC would have brought up this forum and there is boat loads of info here. Lets hope they resolve this soon.

A lot of retailers and etailers get duped by conmen and inadevrtently buy counterfeits. The problem with Yoox is when it happens they don't pull the counterfeits and apologise. They try to argue that the products are genuine and hope they sell out before they are legally required to remove the products.

As T-Dog says Yoox just gets anything & everything - not sourced officially from the brands. IT's basically like TK MAXX or TJ MAXX in the USA.

Years ago I purchased some Fake London Genuis jeans & the pockets were SEWN UP! Evisu T-shirt with the printed design wonky! Evisu leather phone case has the godhead logo stamped on it - this was uneven with one side barely visible. It also had a large crease across it.

The guy who owns Ijin said that they had managed to get hold of some Ijin samples from somwhere & were selling them!

You really do need to check each & every product VERY carefully for floors as alot of the products are seconds/faulty/samples etc. If you don't check them carefully you may miss out on the faults until it is too late.

It doesn't really suprise me that Yoox is selling this dodgy stock. I'd always been looking out for Rangy Mountain Company stuff on Yoox. This just sums Yoox up.

Yoox is also a MASSIVE rip off aswell! It's all old season stuff which is extremely over priced. You really need to wait for like 2nd/3rd/4th sale to get it cheaper than you could in normal high street shop's sales.

Yet ANOTHER reason to buy from OFFICIAL stockists who sell the OFFICIAL & AUTHENTIC (FIRST quality) products!!

Couldnt agree with you more CD, fortunately Ive not had the pleasure of Yoox before, but often look at it for the Evisu gear which sadly is always big sizes normally. That said I'm kinda glad it was........who knows if what I would have got would have been genuine.
