Could be that the embroideries used were left overs given Martin is keen on recycling, but it could also be that the original colour threads are no longer availible for Green, Purple, Red, etc.,. I would love to see a gold, silver version one day.

My guess is that the "left over" pieces from the seen colors are used to produce the patch dragons. I would guess the more rare colors like green and orange had originally less pieces produced so we are unlikely to see these colors in the patch dragon design. But let's see...

Heh Heh, sadly you will be unlikely to find one like that given its two diiferent pairs layed side by side, but I must say it would be very cool if it did come like that!

Yup, it is a fresh design, although it's not available YET. Let's see... Haha, I guess there is SOME color coordination there, so that the jeans are not just random patches, haha.

Sadly to produce a patch dragon like this would mean you would have to chop the main dragon embroidery into two halfs, ie one half blue other half pink, so you would end up with a line running down the middle of the embroidery instead of having continuity in the embroidery. I suspect the embroidery would unravel or fall apart at the seam where it joined too because this part of the jeans gets pulled quite hard when you are walking or sitting down. Still I'd certainly love to see such a variation in the design, would be uber cool!
