not too sure if paul will simply exchange something thats not originaly purchased from him in first place. i bought something that needed exchanging that was purchased from paul and it was no problem as they sold the item to me in first place. thats the beauty of buying something local and not cutting corners.

Paul will not exchange if the item is not bought from him. If anybody's to exchange it should be from the person/shop you originally purchased from. If it's from an authorized stockist, i'm sure they can help you sort it out.
The problem with buying from others/non authorized stockists are the risk of not being to exchange, sizes not right etc. Paul is running a business here and if everyone who buys from others and end up exchanging from him, he would be out of business in no time.

Look forward to seeing the pics buddy, was it a large that you bought cos mine is medium?. Keep meaning to get some pics done with me wearing it so folks can check the fit ( I'm 5ft 10" by the way) but busy with work at this time so aint had time to do any.

Paul's take on things " No mate. We won't exchange and loose our size inventory without 50 percent surcharge. You will have to post it back to hong kong for exchange. Why didn't you buy from us in first place. In uk everything costs money. We have duties, vat, shipping costs and business costs to stay in business and not here as a swap shop for customers who don't support local businesses and buy from abroad duty free without paying vat and costs that business incures. I swear all my RMC purchases apart from 2 out of the 11 inc the current items i have purchased were PURCHASED FROM THE FORUM OR FROM THE UK, i have even purchased frm PAUL as well in the past !!! LOL, what about MEMBER SUPPORT as shawn once said to me, half of my rmc items have been purchased on the forum !!! !!! MAKES ME WONDER IF THE FIRM IS PAUL !!! LOOOL .. i'm sure Paul didn't mean that you only buy from HK etc but implying about the situation in general.

It's like i buy a pair of RMC from HK that's not my size cause the hot sizes are all sold out. then ask paul to exchange for one of the hot sizes when i send over the one that doesn't fit to him. Paul would then be stuck with a pair that doesn't sell as well cause the size is too big/small for the general crowd?
Also, why is he obligated to exchange anything that's not purchased from him anyway?
Lastly, i know you've purchased from paul but the rules applies for many stores. If you buy something from any stores and take it back within reasonable time, they would all do an exchange but no one would exchanges something they never sold right?

I'll have to shrink them I guess. this is the only problem with buying clothes without trying them on first. you really have to know your size before you but. for example, I'm sitting here wearing my unwashed plain yoropiko in size 36. they fit perfect. but the pirate and flower RMC's in lot 1001 in 36 are too tight in the legs and crotch for what I like. either way...
