people in this forum ARE keeping it real. we but the authentic stuff. Fakes are poor in quality, dye with harmful chemicals and also make underage children work. If you like the designs made by martin, support him by buying his authentic products rather than buying fakes which is a major insult. If you really like the design but yet not able to afford it, why not look into the 2nd hand market or save whatever spare money you have till you can afford one?

Ironically I agree with what you say regarding keeping it real. After all how can you keep anything real when you are wearing fakes? If you wear fakes then you are fake, no two ways about it. Real RMC and fake RMC are not the same, clearly one is real the other isnt. You wouldnt buy a kit car of a Lambourgini and stick a VW Beetle engine in it and try to pass it off as the real thing would you?

Keeping it real eh? Like Dunny and Shin already pointed out, rocking fake RMCs or fake stuff is being fake. The counterfeit alternatives are indeed of poor quality and compare in no way to the authentic good. Don't believe us, all you need to see is an authentic pair of RMCs and you know. If ya don't feel like spending the money on RMCs, there are always lower cost alternatives that suit the budget, but throwing that money into a pair of fake jeans is not a good look. Ignorance is no excuse and people need to smarten up.

what about all the people who don't know they are wearing fakes? those who never even saw a pair of real ones. I saw a guy the other day with the bondage girl design on shorts. he probably didn't even know. I felt bad for him. unless I was wrong, but I don't think that design comes on shorts

you are right shawn. they do not come in shorts. they are definitely fake. only shorts that have similar designs to the jeans would be the AAAA design.

Yup, got to say I also do feel for those who get the jeans or shorts and pay big money for them thinking they're real. There are so many retailers intentionally and accidentally pushing the rangy stuff that it's easy for an unaware consumer to fall for it.

I can feel sorry for those that buy fake gear, knowing nothing about the brand and simply buying it because they happen to like the design for example. But lets be realistic, if you know even a little bit about brands like RMC and Evisu for example then you know its a premium brand with a premium price attached to it. When you buy stuff, mega cheap from a market stall, a car boot sale or even one of many Urban retail stores you simply must know it isnt genuine and in my opinion that is unforgivable. These sort of people know deep down its dodgy, they know it was made in some backstreet sweat shop and they simply dont care! Its all excuses most of it. Do these same people really believe their favourite rapper pays $20 for his jeans? Trust me most people know if what they are wearing is real or fake even if they are trying to kid themselves or those around them. I'm not saying there isnt convincing fakes out there because there is, but in the main fakes are generally such poor quality they are not even as good as normal high street generic brands. Surely people must see this and be in the slightest bit suspicious before buying???

my first pair of RMC I bought on Ebay for $1. totally real ones. I think I herd them called Eric Cott or something. in my gallery the ones with the green pockets. $1, so it can happen. actually only a few in my collection I paid over $250 for most average around $200. and only 2 were second hand used. my obama's and my softhard, ok 3 I forgot about my Hokusai waves. those were second hand, but I don't think he ever wore them.
