I believe the original Yoropiko dragons were released early 2007, if I remember correctly and I could be mistaken there were 24 Gold and 24 Silver across all sizes, and of the other special colours, ( Red, Green, Blue, Pink, Light blue, Orange, Purple, etc.,) there were 36 made of each across all sizes. These had the twin dragon heads on the front in matching colours to the rear. Sizes started at 34 so no 32s or 30s sadly which is why I was never able to own a dragon untill the new Gold, Silver and Black were recently released. The new ones, I believe these are limited to 55 pairs across all sizes from waist 28 upwards and are only availible in Gold, Silver and Black. There are also the multicoloured Dragon release which I will assume was made in greater numbers than the special colours given they started at waist size 30 upwards but I dont know how many were produced, maybe 50, perhaps more. If you were lucky enough to get hold of the New Balance hungry Dragons collab which has the NB logo on the front instead of the dragon heads then there was 10 made of each colour worldwide. And if you are mega lucky you could be the lucky owner of the E bay charity Hungry Dragons/ New balance collab. These have the E bay logo on the front of the jeans where one of the dragon heads normally is and a NB on the other side. These are mega rare, only 5 produced in each colour with matching Jackets. The only reason I can see for why NB Dragon releases dont come with removeable buttons is so they match the buttons on the Jackets. Phew, hope that helps buddy

No worries buddy, the Multicolour Dragon was general release availible to all distributors which is why its the one you will have most likely seen for sale. The special colours were for the Asian market only which is why the few that are left are only availible in HK and Taiwan. In most cases if you want a special colour Dragon you have to look at the second hand market either via the likes of E bay or private sale. Anyway nice choice of dragon, I think they all look cool, I just wish I was a bit bigger because I am sure I'd have had a couple more colours now in my collection too
