Has anybody ever washed their Yoropiko Velvet Bag?...Because I decided to wash one of mine and when I got out the washer the golden rope was f*** up

Never attempted to wash a Yoropiko bag before and given your experiance I'm glad I didnt either. Perhaps try a curtain shop, they might be able to offer a replacement using a very similar "tie back" maybe, you often see these in gold and they look very similar too.

im guessing those bags are meant for dry clean only. how did you wash it? dump into washer?

Yea I just dumped into the washer...something told me to remove the rope but I didnt since it didnt fit into the loops

Here is a pic of what it looks like...i removed some of the loose threats trying to clean it up but I noticed that the loose ends are ruined

Oh dear, it might be worth checking the drum in your washing machine too in case the threads that have come off the tassles have got caught up in it. It wouldnt do your washer much good I expect. Like I said before take the bag to a curtain retailer, they may have similar rope ties that could be used to replace it.

Wow, that's some serious tote bag damage. Did the bag itself shrink or anything?

Thanks for the information Ill check my washing machine...as for the rope tie I work at a store where we happen to sale them so ill just wait till next truck to see if we get any new ones

No the bag stayed the same it only got cleaner lol the rope was the only thing that changed

does any one store their jeans in them? for me, once they were out of the bag, they stayed out of the bag
what else can be done with the bag...

1. velvet miniskirt for a very small girl.
